Saya berasa tidak puas hati kenapa pihak management menaikkan kadar sewa temporary parking drpd rm30 sebulan kepada rm50 sebulan dan harus bayar utk 6bulan terus. Pihak management haruslah memikirkan tentang penduduk disini yg bukan semuannya mempunyai pendapatan yg tinggi (klu tinggi, kami x duduk sini). Kami juga ingin menjaga kereta kami dr sebarang bencana jika diletakkan diluar. Jadi pihak management tolong lah jangan menaikkan kadar sesuka hati tanpa alasan yg benar2 munasabah.
Isu kebersihan di Taman Desaminium
Mar 14th
Komen berikut dari En Eddy, perlu di ambil perhatian oleh semua penduduk Taman Desaminium untuk kepentingan semua pihak dan keharmonian dalam kehidupan di Taman Desaminium.
TOLONG JAGA KEBERSIHAN. BLOK MERBAU.
Minta kerjasama pemilik rumah
diblok Merbau supaya :
1. Jangan meletak sampah di kawasan
berhampiran dengan Lif.
2. Jangan biarkan Kuching anda berak
merata tempat. Saya percaya semua
pemilik tidak dibenarkan memelihara
Kuching di tempat kita.
3. Jangan biarkan anak anak bermain
sebarang permainan didalam bangunan
kita.
Mereka secara tak sengaja
menggotorkan cat dinding kawasan
kita.
Minta kerjasama semua pemilik.

Webmaster had some experience with the kitchen cabinet. The contractor was Telekitchen and from my point of view, the job was quite satisfactory. The personnel attending to my renovation were friendly and professional.

Suggestion by a Desaminium resident
Feb 26th
Webmaster had received the following suggestion by a resident which I think is good for all. Please read and let us know yout thoughts. I hope PreMC and PPTD will follow up on the suggestion and feedbacks. TQ
I want to suggest that we create a list to identify what are the MOST IMPORTANT issues affecting ALL OF US. We can shortlist it to between 3 to 5 MOST IMPORTANT issues and discuss / share ideas how to solve it (NON IMPORTANT issues can be discussed later).
Probably we can take a poll to list which are the MOST IMPORTANT issues. Let me start the list which I think is MOST IMPORTANT to all of us.
1. Maintenance Charges (MC)
I feel that we are paying very high MC since pratically there are no facilities provided which are costlly to maintain like swimming pool, excellent landscape, GYM, etc.2. IMPROVE THE LANDSCAPE
This will impress our visitors and hope fully will also improve the market value in the future.3. PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL
We need this schools badlly, this will motivate many house owners to shift to Tmn Desaminum. And also increase the market value for our property.4. HIGHWAY INTERCHANGE
The PUTRAJAYA Highway should provide access for us to travel to and from KL.These are issues which are important to me, which I belive are also
important to many others. Please let us know what is important to you, remember to make it short to TOP 5 issues only.
Thanks to Eddie for this suggestion.
Reminder from Webmaster: Please discuss issues and suggestions with respect. Do not use words and sentences that can hurt your neighbours.
Water dripping from unit above
Feb 1st
Webmaster has received an email from one resident who had highlighted that sometimes excess water from watering plants and/or wet clothes from upper units create problems for lower unit owners. What I like about the content of the email is that, instead of blaming the offending owners of the upper units, the affected owner politely end his email with this nice sentence: “So any suggestion to overcome this problem?”
So here you go Desaminians… don’t just read this post. Help us with ideas how to overcome this problem so that we can make Taman Desaminum a better place to live.
I will start with two suggestions:
1. All units owners should make sure their newly washed clothes are free from dripping water before drying them on the balcony. If maids are doing the house chores, then they should be properly educated by the unit owners.
2. Unit owners should not water their plants too much. Not only this can save water but also avoid any unneccessary inconvenience to the neighbour in the lower units.
Do you have any better suggestion? Please let us know in the comments.
Bloggers Wanted For Desaminium.com
Nov 24th
This is a new idea to make Desaminium.com a more vibrant place for all folks at Taman Desaminium as well as other readers of our online community website.
Volunteer bloggers are required for the following categories:
1. Cempaka block – 1 blogger
2. Anggerik block – 1 blogger
3. Keruing block – 1 blogger
4. Merbau block – 1 blogger
5. Chengal block – 1 blogger
6. PreMC/PPTD blogger – 2 bloggers
7. Desaminian overseas – multiple bloggers (opened for Desaminium owers living overseas)
8. Surau – 1 blogger
9. Desaminium sport – multiple bloggers (one for each sport)
Each blogger is responsible for posting news regarding their areas of interest. For example, if you are Cempaka block blogger, you post any news related to Cempaka block. Pre-MC/PPTD blogger post ay news related to PreMC and PPTD and so on.
For Desaminium owners living overseas, we would like to know about your life experience from where you are living right now.
I think this is a great idea to make living at Taman Desaminium more fun and interactive. The whole idea is to make Desaminium.com more lively with more frequent fresh contents, open up more fronts for discussions among residents and of course to foster better relationships among the residents.
The requirements for Bloggers are as follows:
1. Owns a computer at home.
2. Have internet connection at home or office.
2. Broadband connection (Streamyx) is better compared to dial up as the speed is better.
3. Ability to write clear and easy to understand stories, either in English or Bahasa Malaysia
4. Interested to be part of Desaminium volunteer bloggers. You are not paid for these positions.
5. Willing to spend some time researching for news to be posted at Desaminium.com
If you are interested to be part of this exciting project, please apply by sending email to Webmaster, using the contact form, and tell us briefly, why you should be considered for blogging at Desaminium.com. Please state clearly which position you are applying for. One person can apply only for one position.
Once you are accepted as Bloggers for Desaminium, you will be given an account (User Id and pasword) to access Desaminium.com and start posting news. I will conduct a briefing and training for all bloggers, especially if you are not yet exposed to blogging. What this means is that you dont have to have a blog to apply. New comers are welcome.
No application will be accepted for PreMC, PPTD and Surau bloggers positions, as these posts will be reserved to people authorized within PreMC, PPTD and Surau committees. I will discuss with relevant persons about this and will make announcements about this in due course.
It would be very good if the positions can be filled by residents consisting of multi-racial community of bloggers, so every one is welcome to apply. We may add more bloggers for different subjects in the future.
I pledge for all residents to support this exciting project. I believe this project is the first of its kind in Malaysia, if not the entire world, for a residence community. If this project is a success, I intend to publicize this so that every one in Malaysia can duplicate this model for their own communities. Let’s make Desaminium.com the first….together we can.
What do you think of this idea? Your comments are welcome.
Additional security for your unit
Oct 18th
This posting has been posted in the old version of Desaminium.com but is posted here again to remind residents about the importance of additional security measures, especially for the upcoming festive holidays. We have to take these additional steps on our own to ensure no further burglary takes place.
Here is what we can get to provide further protection to our property. The owner at the hardware shop explained that the alloy steel used in the construction of this safety gadget is very strong unlike the steel that is used for our grill. It looks stronger and this grill lock can be placed on top of the grill which is a little hard to reach if someone attempted to break into our house…at least that is what the theory is.
Webmaster had purchased one of this locks and it only cost RM15, excluding the padlock. Different shops may sell at different prices though. It doesnt hurt to buy and install another one of this cheap stuff so that if someone still try to force open our grill, the thief would have to work double hard.
We hope this would help to provide another option for all residents to consider which can at least put a deterrant factor at the front door to avoid any untowards incidents especially in the coming festive season holidays.
