PreMC managed to collect an overwhelming numbers of signatures… TWO. He he he… Desaminians dont want covered parking for their motorbikes? Or the time is not right? But there are a lot of motorcycles and cars in the parking lots, meaning there are a lot of residents at home… but the turn out was sad indeed.
OK moving on…. this is where residents park their motorbikes… and this morning there was heavy rain.

Over at YBR office, the staff gave themselves special treatment with covered parking.

And they get away with it without any warning from security….. Why???
The residents who own the units are told they can’t park their motorbikes at non-designated parking lots and yet the non-residents of YBR staff can just park anywhere they wish?

This posting has been posted in the old version of Desaminium.com but is posted here again to remind residents about the importance of additional security measures, especially for the upcoming festive holidays. We have to take these additional steps on our own to ensure no further burglary takes place.
Here is what we can get to provide further protection to our property. The owner at the hardware shop explained that the alloy steel used in the construction of this safety gadget is very strong unlike the steel that is used for our grill. It looks stronger and this grill lock can be placed on top of the grill which is a little hard to reach if someone attempted to break into our house…at least that is what the theory is.
Webmaster had purchased one of this locks and it only cost RM15, excluding the padlock. Different shops may sell at different prices though. It doesnt hurt to buy and install another one of this cheap stuff so that if someone still try to force open our grill, the thief would have to work double hard.
We hope this would help to provide another option for all residents to consider which can at least put a deterrant factor at the front door to avoid any untowards incidents especially in the coming festive season holidays.
If you have any other suggestion to be shared, do respond in the comment box below.

The case of missing fire hose nozzles at Flora reminds us a lot about the biscuts advertisement which was run in the television quite long time ago….’kejap ada, kejap takde”…sound cute and funny right? Not so funny with Desamium Flora’s case.
Webmaster received an email from a resident from Flora. He reported the fire hose nozzles went missing again….this time at Cempaka block. The incidents were only noticed last Friday night, 13th Oct 2006.
Residents are now puzzled…..because the original suspect for the incident that happened at Anggerik block has been detained by the police. Does this mean he has an accomplice? Or is there another thief or culprit at large?
It looks like the mystery remains unresolved…..
Police report has been made and according to En Hafeez ( YBR Management Supervisor at Flora), they will get the insurance company to replace those stolen nozzles.

All parents…..please be aware of what your children are doing.
Please do not allow them to play with fire. If you do allow them, please make sure they are properly supervised.
If not, this could happen to you. A fire incident had occured at 6th floor Chengal Block just a couple of days ago. As we were informed, apparently the children lit some candles for them to play with some fireworks and had left the candles still burning on top of wooden shoe rack just outside the unit.
It didn’t take long for the candle to finish burning itself and then the wooden shoe rack was also burnt. The results were quite scary and catastrophic.
Luckily only the corridor was badly burnt. But plaster had come off the ceiling. The wiring and lighting were also damaged affecting the front neighbour.
So again, please do not allow your children playing with fire especially around the unit. Ask them to play in the open space on the ground, even then it should be supervised by responsible adults.
Hope we all can learn from this lesson.
