About Persatuan Penduduk Taman Desaminium (PPTD)

Persatuan Penduduk Taman Desaminium (PPTD) had been formed in May 2004. The idea to group the residents under a registered resident association was mooted by a group of residents mainly due to a lot of difficulties faced by individual residents when dealing with the developer, Desaminium Jaya Sdn Bhd, and YBR Management Services Sdn Bhd, the management company appointed by the developer.

The first residents meeting initiated by Mr Wong Yoke Meng was held under the covered parking lots of Chengal Block. It was attended by about 20 families who were the pioneer group of residents moving into the newly completed Taman Desaminium Rimba. A Pro-Tem Committe was formed and a new chapter of PPTD was started. As a result of this initiative, PPPTD (Rimba) had been officially formed on 31st March 2005. In the first Annual General Meeting held, 87 members of the association attended the meeting.

Today, however, PPTD is the single resident association, representing all residents and tenants from two separate entities PPTD(Rimba) and PPTD (Flora). With the strength of combined memberships from both Desaminium Flora and Rimba, PPTD hopes it will be able to play greater roles to promote unity among all the residents and tenants, and fight for the welfare of all members it is representing.

Membership

Membership to Persatuan Penduduk Taman Desaminium is opened to all residents and tenants of Taman Desaminium Flora and Rimba. You can apply for membership online or download the form and submit manually.

Please take note that all members are required to pay a small fee of RM20 per year to cover some expenses of the running of PPTD.

All members are encouraged to participate in the Taman Desaminium Online Community Forum where all issues affecting the members can be posted and discussed. However a registration is required to join the online forum.
